Privacy policy
How EliteShires Property Services handles the details you give us when you call, email or send an enquiry through this website, and your rights.
Who we are
EliteShires Property Services, 6 Station Parade, Kenton Lane, Harrow HA3 8SB is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it on 0203 667 1333, or in writing to the address above.
If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is carried by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) under its own terms and privacy policy. We see your name as it appears on WhatsApp, your number and what you send us, and we use them only to reply and to carry out the work you ask for. Do not send payment details by WhatsApp.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, phone number, email address, the service and area you choose, and anything you add, usually a property address and a description of the job. If you call or email, we receive whatever you tell us. We do not ask for payment details through this website.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a price, arrange and carry out the work you ask for, and keep the records that certificates and repairs require. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, and complying with legal obligations such as keeping gas safety and electrical records.
Who we share it with
Only the people needed to do the job: the registered engineer or assessor who attends, and, for an EPC, the national EPC register, where certificates are lodged by law. We do not sell your details, add you to marketing lists or pass them to third parties for their own use.
How the enquiry form reaches us
The forms on this website are delivered by Web3Forms, a form service run by Web3Creative. Web3Forms acts as our data processor: it receives what you type, checks it for spam and emails it to our inbox on our behalf. Its spam checks may send your IP address and email address to CleanTalk and Akismet. Web3Forms operates from India on infrastructure from Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, which may process data in several countries, and its policy says that personal data sent from the UK is protected by standard contractual clauses. It keeps a copy of each submission for no more than three years. Its privacy policy has the detail. If you would rather not use the form, call or WhatsApp us instead.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Records connected to work we carry out are kept for as long as the law or the certificate requires (for example, gas safety records must be available for at least two years) and for our accounts.
Cookies and third parties on this site
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts and photographs are served from our own site. Maps are not loaded until you press "Show the map", at which point Google Maps loads and Google's own privacy policy applies to that map.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
